Liz Best
Community Governor
Liz has lived in Maltby since 2016 and now has 2 young children that attend school within the Trust. In her professional life Liz works within a Human Resources department for a global recycling company and often uses her professional skills to help support her role as a Governor. Liz has been a Governor since 2018 and her aim is to ensure all children in the community get the best education possible to give them a great start in life.

Principal
Principal at Maltby Lilly Hall Academy, Richard was jointly responsible for improving the results profile of the school over a short period of time and was instrumental in moving Maltby Lilly Hall Academy from ‘Requires Improvement’ to ‘Good’ in 2021.
Formerly Vice-Principal of Maltby Redwood Academy, Mr Pease was an integral part of the leadership team which brought the school out of Special Measures to secure a ‘Good’ judgement in 2011.
As an outstanding teacher, he has a detailed an instinctive knowledge of teaching and learning and a proven ability to improve the practice of others.
He is recognised for his extensive knowledge of the curriculum and has worked across primaries in the Trust to raise attainment and progress, predominantly in Key Stage 2.
He is passionate about creating a culture where children and staff can flourish to the best of their ability – ensuring pupils are more than ready for the next phase of their education.
