Mrs Claxton has worked at Maltby Lilly Hall Academy for almost 16 years. She also lives in the local area and has three, now grown up children, who all previously attended Maltby Lilly Hall Academy. 

During her time at Maltby Lilly Hall Academy, Mrs Claxton has worked across many key stages as a teaching assistant and in later years, has now progressed to being a cover supervisor. Her role at the Academy has enabled her to enrich her knowledge of teaching strategies and gain a first hand knowledge of how the school operates on a day to day basis. Mrs Claxton believes that this enables her to offer valuable contributions and be well equipped to provide her knowledge and understanding from both staff and parents perspective. 

Mrs Claxton is excited by her role as a Staff Governor as she feels it provides her with further opportunity to work alongside staff and other professionals, whilst striving to ensure children of Maltby Lilly Hall Academy receive an enriching, inspiring and varied curriculum in a warm and inviting environment.
